I, of course, do a lot of writing for my clients: commissioned travel pieces, SEO blog posts, website copy. But it’d been a while since I wrote something just for the joy of it.
So a month ago, I started something new. My very own Substack, working title: Katie & Corners of Spain.
Since I’ve been based in this glorious country, I’ve realised you don’t need to go very far at all to have an amazing adventure. So I’m shifting my focus from the total number of countries I can clock up, and challenging myself to see just how well I can get to know Spain and all its hidden gems.
Having spent three years in a real-life cave house in Granada, I moved to Zaragoza, Aragón, with my husband in 2021, and have been exploring this neck of the woods ever since.

☀️ Plenty of stuff about what it’s like to be a Spain-based translator and copywriter, moving back towards specialising in travel, after some fun detours.
